Okinawa 1st Semester 1/4 done! wow!! time goes by fast...

So 1/4 of the semester is now done! wow time goes by fast. next month I will give my testimony, we will go to Tonaki Jima and also on the first of april we leave for Korea!!!!
I've not posted in a awhile, so I decided to post a longer post than usual. Alot has been going on.

Finally the Sakura!!! (cherry blossoms)

This is the only train to ever be in Okinawa. It was used to transport food from one side of the island to the other, but during the war the americans found out they were using it and blowed up the train tracks, so now it is stuck here. This is Zac and Rika explaining everything!

~ At Peace Memorial Park I saw this flower and thought it was so pretty! ~ It made me think of Okinawa! lol...

On friday instead of lectures, we went on a field trip to a park, they had pill boxs were the japanese soilders would be inside. The park was right next to Futenma base and was the middle point were most of the fighting went on. Zac and Rob told us alot about it.
