A much needed Update! ~

So...
I'm sorry I didn't upadate the whole summer...
I found out quickly that keeping up with a blog is hard.
But! I won't give up, i'm going to try and keep up with my blog as much as I can since i'm not busy now.
So I guess now it's time for a quick update of my summer in Okinawa and what God has been doing in my life!
my flight to Okinawa went faster than I thought it would, and it was a smooth flight almost the whole was (with some bumpy parts).
I was worried about the airports in Japan, but God kept me safe the whole time! God is good.
God taught me soo much this summer, Ecspecially always having Faith in Him. My peace is in Christ.
The first month in Okinawa I was getting used to everything and everyone. God has blessed me with such good friends, and it's awesome to see what God is doing in other peoples hearts and life.
It was awesome being able to hangout with my sister this whole summer.
I love to see how much God has changed my sister, and how she is following Christ with all her heart! We became even closer this summer.
When SOS started, I got to take three classes:
Childrens Ministry, Apologetics and Kanji.
Kanji was hard, but I learned so much! I never thought I would ever be able to learn even 10 kanji let alone 40!!! Toki was a great teacher.
One of my favorite things I got to do was the Child care we did on and off base. Being able to teach the children about Christ and His love for us was awesome, I feel really led to do child care/childrens ministry.
This summer went by fast, and I had a amazing time serving God and growing in His word. Each and everyday growing in my walk with Christ.
So now I'm back home, trying hard to be diligent and NOT lazy.
It's hard, but God has already taught me alot wall being back home.
and I'm now applying for the 2011 spring semester at CCBC Okinawa!!!
I've been praying alot about this, and really feel led to go to Bible College in Okinawa. So I'm taking a step of faith. God truly is amazing, it amazes me sometimes. God loves us so much, and we take it for granted sometimes. We don't deserve anything, but God still loves us and calls us His children. His grace and love is amazing.
